Christie’s Lates | Layali (Nights)
The first Christie’s Lates of 2025, welcoming over 1,000 people into the building to celebrate Christie’s Islamic and Indian art and carpets sale. The Lates consisted of a vibrant line-up of talks, performances, exhibitions and workshops that explore the rich history and enduring influence of these artistic traditions.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Producing the full schedule of the evening, working closely with the different interal operation teams to logistically plan ahead
Approaching brands and organisations to be part of the event and managing the relationship with them
Producing project trackers to efficiently keep on top of all elements of the event
Meeting with the different contributers for site visits and to answer logistical questions
Leading regular meetings with security, catering, facilities, AV and the wider operations teams to update and communicate the plan for set up and the event itself
Delegating roles out to the events team to ensure there’s support throughout the evening
Leading the team and communicating updates throughout the planning stage
Managing the budget for the event and making exeutive decisions on where the budget is spent
Working closely with the marketing team to brief in the design elements of the event (e.g. logo, website, programming etc…) and social team, to ensure Christie’s brand is reaching a larger audience
Tying in Christie’s pillar of sustainability into the event through arranging sustainable wines to be sold at the bar
