As part of the iconic Charlie Watts: Gentleman, Collector, Rolling Stone sale, Christie’s hosted Jools Holland in conversation with Paul Sexton and Dave Green followed by a private specialist tour of the sale before opening to the public for viewing. It was for 150 guests and was also recorded professionally for Youtube.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing RSVPs and client queries
Organising the catering to meet the department’s needs, by working with the catering manager
Designing the layout and colour scheme of the room based on the brief and research I’d done into the sale
Using ExhibitaPro and working with the exhibition designer to visualise the event layout
Responding to last minute requests from the department to make sure the event was exactly how they wanted it
Creating a schedule that incorporated the different deliveries and film crew set up
Being on hand throughout the event to ensure it ran smoothly
