Event Details:
As part of the Mark Knopfler Guitar Collection sale, I led the Christie’s Lates event to showcase the sale to the public. This event consisted of several talks throughout the evening, a guitar making demonstration, a photobooth, a pop-up cinema showing films with Mark Knopfler’s soundtracks and bars provided by Portobello Road Gin and Burnt Mil Brewery. Roles and Responsibilities:
Delegating responsibilities out to team members to manage workload and deadlines
Working with the marketing team and the client to approve programming and logo design ahead of the event
Being the key contact for all suppliers. Arranging site visits and meetings to collate all relevant details ahead of the event
Creating the full schedule for the day of the event so all internal stakeholders are aware of the plan
Creating the registration form and managing client queries
Organising briefing meetings and walkthroughs with the security team, AV, facilities, catering and the wider operations team
